TYPE FIGHTER

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Type Fighter ("we", "us"), the free online typing game at typefighter.net, handles information when you visit the site or play the game. By using Type Fighter you agree to this policy.

1. The short version

Type Fighter stores the minimum it needs to run a typing game with accounts and leaderboards: a username, an optional country, and your gameplay statistics. We never ask for your real name. We show ads (Google AdSense) to keep the game free, and those ads — like ads across the web — may use cookies. We do not sell your personal data.

2. Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners use them to keep you signed in, remember your settings, understand how the site is used, and — through third-party advertising partners — to serve and measure ads. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

3. Advertising & Google AdSense

Type Fighter displays third-party advertising, including through Google AdSense, to keep the game free to play.

For more on how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

4. Consent for users in the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are shown a consent message before personalized ads are served, presented through a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP). It lets you accept or decline the use of cookies for personalized advertising. You can review or change your choices at any time through the privacy options control that the consent message provides. Where you do not consent, ads may still be shown but will be non-personalized.

5. Analytics

We may use analytics tools to understand site traffic and how the game is used — for example aggregate counts of visits, page views, and general region or device type. This helps us fix problems and improve the game. This information is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

6. Data we store when you create an account

Accounts and game saves are handled by our backend provider, Supabase. When you register and play with an account we store:

We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for anything beyond running the game, its leaderboards, and the advertising described above.

7. Guest mode

Playing as a guest stores your entire profile only in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes a guest profile permanently. If you later create an account, your guest progress is merged into it and from then on saves to our database.

8. Leaderboards are public

If you play with an account, your leaderboard entry — username, country flag, best WPM and accuracy, wins, title, rank points and win streak — is publicly visible to all players on the global, country and daily-challenge leaderboards. Pick your username accordingly.

9. Children's privacy

Type Fighter is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at typefighter.ads@gmail.com and we will delete it.

10. Third-party services

11. Deleting your account

To delete your account, email typefighter.ads@gmail.com with your username. We may ask you to prove the account is yours (for example by changing something visible on your profile) before we delete your account, game save and leaderboard entries. Guest profiles can be deleted by clearing your browser's site data — they were never on our servers.

12. Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page will be updated and the "Effective date" above revised. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.

13. Contact
