About Type Fighter

Type Fighter is a free, browser-based typing game where how fast and how accurately you type is how hard you hit. No download, no sign-up required — just open it and play.

What it is

Every word you type correctly lands a blow; mistakes cost you. It turns ordinary typing practice into a fighting game, so getting faster and more accurate actually feels rewarding. You can play right in your browser, on desktop, for free.

What you can do

• Practice — timed typing drills with several difficulty levels, weak-key training, quotes, code and your own custom text.
• Battle — fight your way through solo levels and a boss gauntlet, and climb a ranked ladder.
• Online multiplayer — queue for ranked 1v1, or create private 2v2 and 4v4 rooms and invite friends with a link.
• Daily Challenge — one shared 60-second sprint each day, the same words for everyone, with a daily leaderboard and streaks.
• Learn Typing — a full, free touch-typing course that takes a complete beginner through the whole keyboard, finger by finger, with on-screen guidance.
• Multiple languages — practice and play in English, Arabic and Russian.

Who makes it

Type Fighter is built and run by an independent developer. It's free to play, and it stays free and online thanks to ads on the site and optional Ko-fi support from players who want to chip in. It isn't backed by a big studio — it's a passion project, and feedback genuinely shapes where it goes next.
